Rest assured Threads & Laces will always strive to provide you with a quality service & endeavour to assure satisfaction on all products offered. We welcome your opinion & if you have any suggestions on improving your experience using our website or service, we would appreciate hearing from you.

We attempt to photograph our items clearly & describe them as accurately as possible.

Please note that colours on your computer screen may vary due to screen resolution & while we strive to give as an accurate representation as possible, Threads & Laces cannot be held responsible for this. If in doubt, please contact us for further details on any product.

If you are looking for a specific item by one of our suppliers not advertised on our website, please contact us with full details & we should be able source it for you.

We reserve the right to remove or replace an item, or change pricing structures on our website without prior notice.

Whilst we search for the perfect premise Threads & Laces are a web store only. We currently do not offer any fitting service due to this.

Making A Purchase


Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store & add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept debit/credit card payments or PayPal.

Due to numerous colour rolls in production, some dresses may have a 5% colour difference. This is standard practice in the bridal industry for manufacturing.

Shipping & Handling


All products are shipped discreetly in a plain mailing bags or a box, with no indication as to the contents. All delivery addresses will be copied as per the customer input. If the carrier or post cannot deliver because of an incorrect address, then we reserve the right to charge an additional supplement. Whilst we try to deliver all goods ordered in accordance with our pledge using reputable companies, we take no responsibility for any consequence of late delivery however caused.

Pre Loved - Exactly that: An item that has been previously used. Any alteration, marking, snags, tears or flaws will be described & in most cases, you may wish to have the item laundered.

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT - CLAIM TIME LIMITS


It will be your responsibility to inform us immediately of any damage to the delivered goods. Details must be recorded on the delivery documentation, and we must be notified no later than 48 hours after delivery. Do not dispose of any of the packaging as this will be required to effect the claim against the carrier.

SHORTAGE


It is the responsibility of you to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery or carrier consignment note. If you suspect that there are items missing from delivery, first check that the order has not been partly shipped. Any shortage must be noted on the delivery note and we are to be notified within 24 hours.

INCORRECT GOODS


Notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 24 hours of delivery. If the items are not what you ordered, you must not open the manufactures packaging or use the items.We will not exchange or refund for any suspected used garments. It will be your responsibility to notify us of any problems.

NON DELIVERIES


We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 2 days from expected delivery date. We shall accept no liability for shortages, non deliveries, incorrect goods or damaged on delivery outside the stated timescales. Except when extenuating circumstances have prevented the notification within the stated timescale.

CUSTOMS CHARGES


We are not responsible for any charges incurred by the customer outside of the UK.

Delivery Schedule


* Please note that all of our items will be dispatch the same day for cleared payments received before 2pm. On occasions this time may be extended, although rare & our customer service team will always keep you informed.

The delivery option you select determines how the order is shipped. If any amendments need to be made, please inform us before 4pm prior to our dispatch deadline.

We hold a large amount of stock, and aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours for delivery within 3-5 days. If we are not able to do so, then we will inform you & you may, if you wish, cancel the order & we will fully reimburse you.

We strongly suggest that, upon receipt, you inspect the goods and advise us if the delivered goods are not what you ordered or are faulty.

We will not be under any liability to you for any delay or failure to deliver if the same is wholly or partly caused directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

We will not be liable under our agreement with you for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where i) there is no breach of a legal duty or care owed to you by us or by any of our employees or agents; ii) such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach; iii) any increase in loss or damage results from breach by you of any of these Terms.

We are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not foreseeable by you and us (such as loss of profits or loss of opportunity).

As a consumer, you have certain rights by law regarding the return of defective goods and claims in respect of losses caused by any negligence on our part or our failure to carry out our obligations. These terms and conditions shall not affect those rights.

* Express Delivery - Within 1 working days (Excludes Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays)

* 1st Class Recorded - Within 1-2 working days (Excludes Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays)

* 2nd Class Recorded - Within 3-5 working days (Excludes Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays)

* International Signed For - Please allow 3 - 10 working days (Excludes Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays)

* Note:- International orders are not subject to the free delivery.

VAT Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in the price shown.

All debit/credit cards are processed using our safe and secure payment system where all details are encrypted. At no point do Threads & Laces see your credit card details. We accept VISA, VISA DELTA, MASTERCARD, SOLO, SWITCH, and VISA ELECTRON.

We offer a guarantee that if you're in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund (postage & packing **will not be reimbursed), provided that you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact. Returns Policy


Threads & Laces are committed to your complete satisfaction, so if you're in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund (postage & packing will not be reimbursed) provided the following steps are taken:-

EXCHANGES


Threads & Laces will not charge an additional delivery charge for exchanged items. (except for Ireland delivery addresses without a Postcode or other destinations outside the UK. This amount will be deducted from your original payment method or paid in addition prior to dispatch of the exchanged item)


The returning item must be:
1. Unworn and in a fit condition for re-sale, ie. no smoking aroma or fragrance.
2. In its original packaging with all Tags & Labeling intact.
3. We suggest you use Recorded Delivery or other traceable means within 14 days of delivery, as proof of posting is not proof of delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us in adequate packaging. If these guidelines are not upheld in full, an exchange will not be issued. The item will be returned to you & the return postage cost will be deducted from your original payment method or until return costs are met by yourself.

Note: We will not be held responsible for missing items returned to us. Should your item go missing with Royal Mail, the customer will be responsible for contacting Royal Mail and issuing a claim.

REFUNDS


Please allow 10 working days from the date we receive your goods back for your refund to be completed & then a further 3 working days for this to appear on your account. You will be e-mailed to notify you of when the refund has been completed. Please accept any cancellation request if purchased through our eBay store.

Your refund may be slightly delayed due to Bank/Public Holidays or Company Shutdown Periods such as Christmas

Where you do cancel your order, you are under a duty (until the goods are returned to us) to retain possession of them and take reasonable care of them.

When you return your order the goods must be returned to us at your cost, however we will not charge an additional delivery cost for exchanges of our items, this can be for any other products/sizes.

NO refunds will be given unless we receive the goods safely, with the necessary documentation and within our deadline under any circumstances.

Under NO circumstances will be accept any returns with any damage / marks to the item.

We will not accept returns of items which are designed to be worn next to the skin (this applies to lingerie).

We will not accept returns of earrings that are either sold individually or part of a jewellery set in line with Health & Safety importance for our consumers.

We do not reimburse any original delivery costs.

If you wish to exchange the item again, we will need to charge a postage cost which will be deducted from your original payment method or paid for again prior to the dispatch of the exchange item.

Any returns that are sent back to us that incur customs charges our end will be deducted from the total of the refund, We will not be liable for this cost under any circumstances.
